Hello again, it's Alsworth! Here to shove some more music into your ears.

This time I have something known as Red Hot Chili Peppers' new album called I'm with You. As expected, it is very high quality from the Chilis, even with the new guitarist: Josh Klinghoffer. Their style has seemed to have very slightly change, becoming a little more bass has been added which sounds quite awesome.

A few other things I find myself lately, although I'm not really listening to much recently, is OSTs (Original Soundtracks). For you who don't know, these are all of the songs used for a particular film/tv program/video game. I mainly listen to video game soundtracks and they are usually quite nice.

Some examples:

- Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii/PC/PS3/360) ~ The Force Unleashed

- Professor Layton series (DS) ~ Layton's Theme

Yeah, I'm back! Have a band.

Youth Lagoon - Imagine a sweeping orchestral feel, echo-y pianos, Modest Mouse-ish vocals (except prettier), ringing percussion, and twinkling electrical hooks, and you'll get something like Youth Lagoon. This band from Idaho has some serious song-writing chops, so pay attention and you might learn something. Good for late nights, early mornings, and when you're feeling uninspired. This should fix that right up.
