First of all I would like to introduce you to a band call Project RnL. They are a group of guys that do some covers but in a style of their own. They also do something called 'VideoSongs', which is where they show them actually performing it and edited inside the video. There has been a couple of appearances from Jordan Rudess, part of the band Dream Theater, doing some stuff on iPads and keyboards.
Talking about Dream Theater, they have released a single called 'On The Backs of Angels', which will be on their latest album, 'A Dramatic Turn of Events', that'll be out on the 13th of September this year. This will also be the first album with the new drummer, Mike Mangini. Check out how he made it, here. If you're looking to check out some other Dream Theater stuff, I would recommend the tracks; 'The Spirit Carries On' , 'The Dark Eternal Night' and 'Honor Thy Father'.
